Turkish March – Annual Concert 2014

After a couple of years (or more) not performing in the annual club concerts in Al Rehab Club, I was back with this hard music composed by W.A. Mozart, as well as other orchestral songs.

Just to be honest, I liked the challenge rather than the music itself, especially that I prefer romantic music like “Love Story,” “Romeo & Juliet” and others.

Love Story (for the first time again) – El Mehwer TV

For the first time performing this particular art to the public, for the first time on TV, and first “duet” with a Violinist (Mr Wesam El Sharkawy). It was recorded on March 13th, before performing it again on Mother’s Day in Al Rehab Club, but was broadcasted later on Thursday, March 27th, 2014. On that show, I only performed this duet and one orchestral with the rest of the group.

So, here’s the video of the full show, where my duet starts at 6m35s, lasting for about 5 (romantic) minutes, and performed with the orchestra in the last song in the show. The video should start at my duet, but you might need to seek to it if it didn’t do that automatically, or feel free to watch it all! Winking smile

Theme of film “Love Story”, played by Pianist Shadi A. Barghash, and Violinist Wesam El Sharkawy.

Interesting?! Open-mouthed smile

Love Story – Mother’s Day

For the second time, Mr Wesam and I performed together the theme music of the film “Love Story”. That was on Mother’s Day celebration in Al Rehab Club. In that concert, I also played Piano with the club orchestra as we performed “Nassam Alayna El Hawa,” “Ya Ward Ala Foll we Yasmeen” and others. The first time was on March 13th, 2014, on El Mehwer TV with Sherif Madkur in his show “Sa’aa Ma’ Sherif” (An Hour with Sherif), but was recorded and shown later on March 27th.

Now, I’ll let you watch the a part of it:

I know the sound was not very clear, but hopefully it was enjoyed. Smile
